About Our Project
“David’s Arrows” is an Israel advocacy and education project created by Sgt. Maj. (Res.) Y.M. Ben-Caro. Ben-Caro actively serves in the Israel Defense Force reserves in a variety of roles, especially combat. He has served for over 800 days (and counting) from October 7th, 2023 and received official “wounded in action” status. Even while operating on the front lines, Sgt. Maj. Y.M. Ben-Caro is launching and maintaining this initiative to increase awareness, meaningful communication, and educated dialogue about Israel and the IDF. This program is especially (but not exclusively) focused on Jewish young people – the next generation of Am Yisrael.
Project Initiatives
Visual Journal
IDF Sgt. Maj. Y.M. Ben-Caro brings you an inside look and exclusive perspectives from the front lines of the Israel Defense Force (within the parameters of what is permitted to be shared publicly).
Front Lines Shofar
Sgt. Maj. Y.M. Ben-Caro is collecting audio files of Am Yisrael (the Jewish people) sounding the shofar (ram’s horn). These recordings of the shofar will then be played on the IDF front lines of Lebanon.
Receive a Letter
Motivated by incoming messages of encouragement, Sgt. Maj. Ben-Caro created a program in which young people can receive a personalized letter and IDF “swag” from real IDF soldiers on the front lines.
Q & A Webinars
Webinars, Q & A sessions, and other online educational events to increase awareness about the IDF in Jewish schools and university campus clubs in the United States and other global diaspora communities.
